Our Sunday Sandlot program will begin Sunday, November 29. It will offer a full spectrum of training for high school age baseball players preparing for the upcoming season. Come and get more instruction and repetition at your position, or come get fully prepared for a new position this season. We will help you reach your goals. We will be holding live batting practice every session. Register using the online scheduler. Select “Sunday Sandlot” The training will take place at Morley Field in North Park and will begin at 10am and go until noon.

Verified Velocity Videos ™ will be providing the video services for Golden State Sports Training athletes, and its Baseball Academy members. After consulting with numerous college coaches, recruiters, and scouts, Verified Velocity Videos ™ has designed a video format that highlights an athlete’s skill set in a manner that recruiters can assess movements and actions, but also have real time verification of arm strength, pitch velocity, pitch movement, exit velocity off the bat, and running speed. The Full Production package includes a recruiting consultation, filming session, editing, finished production, video marketing on Verified Velocity Videos ™ social media outlets, Golden State Sports Training social media outlets and website. Athletes will receive a hyperlink with their video, a hard copy of the video, and a personal marketing packet to guide them through the most effective use of their video.

Baseball Academy members:
As part of your club membership we are producing recruiting videos for members of the High School and College Prep Divisions.
We have a Stalker radar gun and will be filming recruiting videos for pitchers to be posted on the website. It’ll be by appointment only. We’ll try and get everyone done as quickly as possible. High school players will have priority.
We will be filming position players as well during games and batting practice throughout the summer as well.
I’ll set up the online scheduler so pitchers can reserve the bullpen for filming.
Our Baseball Academy is now enrolling players for our 3 Divisions. All interested players are welcome to attend.

We are beginning our Skills Clinic Series on Sunday, March 8th. The series will run every Sunday except Easter Sunday until the end of the youth baseball season. The sessions are limited are limited to 12 athletes per class. The class schedule is as follows:

In order to better serve all the needs of our athletes we will beginning new programs for 2015. We will be incorporating on-field training, strength and conditioning, and speed and agility training in partnership with several leagues and facilities around San Diego. Look for our clinics and training sessions beginning in January 2015.
Also new for 2015 will be our Membership program. Member benefits include free or discounted fees for clinics and lessons. It is our goal to make high quality training available to as many athletes as possible. We have a membership plan that will fit everyone’s budget!
Please contact us to sign up for Session IV. Instruction and Clinics will take place twice per week. Athletes can choose to participate in up to 5 hours of instruction per week, or as little as 30 minutes. It’s all up to you!

Coach Brandon Hennesey pitching coach at the University of Texas at Pan American a D-1 in the WAC Conference will Be at San Ysidro High School Monday September 15th at 4 PM. They are looking for any Seniors who will clear clearing house or any underclassman who you feel are D-1 prospects. A type of showcase style will be used to evaluate.
